Juli-10 Panther Admin integrates with TDC Service Provider Web (SPWEB)
Panther Admin is now fully integrated with TDC SPWEB. Panther Admin customers can handle cell phone customers directly from Panther Admin, and by that fully automate the process of getting and serving new and existing customers using the Panther Admin workflow management system.
June-10 Panther ATS with Hypertable (Google Bigtable implementation)
Panther ATS has now been tested with hypertable (a google bigtable implementation) as storage. Storage can now be done in 3 different ways, with files, in distributed MySQL servers or by using Hypertable. Hypertable makes storage and queries in log data extremely effective, comparable to our distributed mysql solution. Since hypertable is in beta we do not recommend our customers to use it in production yet. MySQL and Hypertable implementations are primarily for terabyte and petabyte CDR storage solutions.

May-10 Panther Admin ESG, version 3 in beta
The Panther Admin subscriber gateway (ESG) is now beta tested in version 3. The new version is called Panther SAG and will be shipped as a software package, which can be used as a stand alone black box solution for Ethernet based networks. The new system includes several features over the ESG version 2.
Features are:
- Web based GUI
- SOAP API
- Provisioning using Panther UD (Universal Driver)
- Router with optional NAT functionality
- Bridge
- VLAN trunk
- DHCP server
- DHCP option82 AAA
- Modem MAC based AAA
- Brandwidth limiting (profile based)
- IP logging according to "anti-terror logging directive"
- IP data interception.
- Firewall
- Simple customer management, with customer access control
- Simple product management
- and much, much more...
The new UD system for provisioning makes it possible for our customers to build and edit their own provisioning drivers. This is especially good for environments where loads of different equipment is in use, and where daily work with scripts is needed.
A major priority in the creation of this new SAG is that we optimize all features to be run on standard server hardware. Our clients can make use of simple, easy replaceable, in-expensive server hardware and by doing so, keep running costs and complexity down. Each system should be capable to handle 10.000 fiber or TP45 customers using several 1Gb Ethernet NICs and Quad/Octo core.

Feb-10 Panther Admin update
Panther Admin now fully support rating of mediated TAP3 information. Furthermore Panther Admin is now updated to support down payments on unpaid bills and redemption.
Panther Admin is now supported both on IBM DB2 UDB and MySQL.
Latest release of Panther Admin is now updated so most configuration can be handled directly in the webbased userinterface, where as earlier several configuration files was left in the unix filesystem to be opened manually with a shell based editor.
Jan-10 Panther ESG update
The Panther Subscriber Gateway ESG is now extended with several features:
• Alcatel ESS provisioning (primarily for open networks).
• Bandwidth throttling to limit individual customers bandwidth in the ESG
• Manual driver customization to open up for more options if necessary.
Drivers can now be configured by hand with no programming knowledge, to suit the needs of network administrators need for provisioning.
Dec-09 Panther Weblogger
Panther Weblogger is now finished to production. With a Panther Weblogger it is possible to monitor all traffic to a large numbers of webservers, with a single weblogger server. The result of using a single central logging system is to limit critical ressource usage on production environment without compromising the need for log-information.

It is now possible to run the vmware version of Panther Admin on VMware. If you already have an ESXi server setup, it is very easy to start using the IAS IP usage billing platform. Call or write us for trials or contracts for getting access to the software.

Nov-09 VMware Image now to run on VMware Workstation 7
It is now possible to run the vmware version of Panther Admin on VMware workstation 7. We won’t recommend doing that for production environment, but for trials it can be a simple way to get up and running. Read more about vmware workstation 7 (click here).
Nov-09 Video learning with Panther Admin
Panther Applications will now begin to create and upload learning videos. The video's will be very short and show different tasks are handled in Panther Admin. By using the video section, Panther Admin users and newbies will have an easy way to the look and feel of Panther Admin.

Oct-09 MySQL version of Panther Admin
Panther Admin can now be shipped based on the MySQL database engine. MySQL is especially good for small internet providers who lack expertise in the dba field. Panther Applications will as company continue to support DB2 on the platform.

Potential customers can now log directly into an online version of Panther Admin. The online version is open with a standard login for all who wants to see the look and feel of Panther Admin. The online version is limited to show only the base system (click for more).

Panther Applications now support hosting of Panther IAS. The Panther IAS can measure the IP data of your customers for billing purpose. The IAS includes pages for analyzing the traffic on customers in the system, it support different products that are used both in hosting environments but also for carrier products.
